About Me

From a back garden in Surrey aged 5, making boats using the local clay – to a back garden in Kent many years later, the possibilities of clay still fascinate me.The journey took me via adult education in north London, Morley College and Elmers End in south London. After deciding to take the plunge, I have now been working for 14 years from a ‘Shed’ at the bottom of our garden, when not attending Shows or Exhibitions. I am also a member of Kent Potters Association


An early acquaintance with ducks prompted me to start making them, this spread to penguins and seals, united by their combination of grace and comedy. All the sculptures are made individually to preserve their character.
