The making of these pots was inspired by a visit to Australia, mostly by the strong contrast between sky and land, but also by the curve of the earth which made a strong impression on me. |

They are hollow with a double wall construction to give added protection from frost and heat. This is the nearest I get to throwing a pot! |

These head pots are made as planters or with drainage holes. They are glazed with an oatmeal or turquoise glaze. They emerged after a visit to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. |
